About Us

Background

Webcogs was founded in 2000 initially to provide E-Commerce services at competitive prices and has developed a wide customer base in this field. A number of products have formed the backbone of this success, all of which are developed and maintained in-house. We maintain our own dedicated servers and this allows us to provide our customers with fast and reliable hosting.

Webcogs is a division of Code Frontiers Ltd, which in 2007 was expanded to include Coded Edge. Launched in 2007, Coded Edge was founded in order to develop games technologies for the Internet. Their flagship technology is the Elflight Engine, which supports hardware-accelerated OpenGL graphics in a web browser, near 'instant play' and background streaming of game resources.

Times change and the Internet evolves. Hence, this is the fourth incarnation of the Webcogs website, specifically designed to comply with the latest web standards and accessibility guidelines.

Directors

Code Frontiers Ltd employs two directors with a total experience of 40 years in the computer industry. This experience ranges from Web development and embedded software products through to the development of large vertical market systems.
