Introduction

Passgen is a Apple Mac OS X dashboard widget for generating pronouncable easy to remember passwords. When you click on a password it is automatically copied so that you can paste it into your chosen application or web page.

Installation

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, display your dashboard, click the 'plus' sign to display the widget bar and then click the widget's icon to open it.

If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets in your home folder. Display your dashboard and click the 'plus' sign to display the widget bar and then click the widget's icon to open it.
