Portfolio - Job Doctor

Introduction

Screenshot of the Job Doctor website JobDoctor was an employment and personal injury claims company that was founded in 2002.

Project Background - 2002 to 2003

Webcogs were commisioned to build a large scale web application which allowed Job Doctor to manage incoming calls. A dynamic questionnaire would be presented to call center staff which would change depending upon the answers that were given by the applicant at the end of the phone. Additional features were provided to allow Job Doctor to input questionnaires, setup rule bases and manage the website.

Client Feedback

"Webcogs was given instructions by me to develop a web site according to an open brief to portray a product to a volatile personal injury claims market, where there are differing public perceptions of this product sector. This required on their part, creativity, technical skill and an understanding of this market.

In addition to constructing the public interface for putting up on the web, Webcogs was required to create a bespoke "back office" B2B solution which would provide a paperless system for managing claims in a sector that is traditionally moribund with paper trails.

Working closely with others on this project, Webcogs produced both a front end solution for web display and a B2B solution giving provision for linkages with call centres and with specialist lawyers countrywide, also a mechanism for tracking the progress of claims and for storing data for potential commercial exploitation.

It is a unique solution for a highly competitive market. It is my intention to grant the initial licence in the IT solution to ClaimsEnabler.com. Webcogs proved to be proficient and accommodating in taking this difficult brief to completion. I remain grateful to them for their assistance."
