Introduction

MacHylafax MacHylafax is a HylaFAX fax client for Mac OS X which integrates into the Apple Address Book and enables networking faxing from any application.

Project Background (2005-2008)

HylaFAX is a open-source enterprise-grade fax server application. Although there were a plentiful supply of good fax clients for Windows, they were thin on the ground for Mac OS X. In 2005, Webcogs built and launched MacHylafax, a HylaFAX client for Mac OS X.

To promote and distribute MacHylafax, Webcogs built a MacHylafax website which incorporates E-Commerce technology that supports registration of downloaded software over the Internet.
