Star Fray Star Fray is a scrolling action game designed to work on a broad range of different mobile phones. Featuring simulated physics, addictive gameplay, 20 levels, collision detection and particle effects it is a popular download on our casual games portal.

Project Background (2005)

Star Fray was launched on our casual games portal 'BitSilver' in 2005.

The game was written entirely in J2ME/MIDP 1.0 which allows it to run on most colour handsets. In addition to building the game, Webcogs developed copy protection technology to discourage the full version of the game from being copied illegally. A free demo version is available and the full version is purchasable on the BitSilver website.

Webcogs also developed level design tools to facilitate the creation of the 20 levels that exist in the game.
